SASSC23 - Wish Big

Hey everyone! This card is BANANAS! Seriously...this one is definitely going into "the one that got away from me" file! LOL! WHOA, it's HUGE and just really too overdone for me! When I saw the sketch challenge over at Stamps and Smiles, I remembered I had some long envelopes that I picked up at a paper supply store awhile back. I measured the envelope and cut the card base 1/4 inch on both sides smaller than the envelope. It works out to be 9.5 x 3.75.

I'm kind of hooked on this set as of late, so forgive me if you're sick of seeing it! LOL!

LPSC23 - Coffee & some No Doubt talk

Hey! Happy Monday! This weekend went by SO fast! Last night, we had the pleasure of seeing No Doubt in concert. For all of you in your mid-twenties or early-thirties you FOR SURE know who I'm talking about! :) I was telling some people in the management team at work who I was seeing and they were all looking at me weird. I guess it probably doesn't help that they are all at least 15+ years older than me! ;)

FS126 - You Brighten My Day

Hello! I hope you have all recovered nicely from your Independence Day celebrations. We had a nice day, we went to my boss' house for a cookout and ended up staying much later than expected so I guess that's a good thing! :) And tonight we're going to see No Doubt in concert! YAY! I bought the tickets ages ago when they went on sale so we (AKA *I*) am super excited about going!

I made this card for today's featured stamper challenge on SCS. The featured stamper is Sandra AKA B-gin-r which is funny because she is this month's There She Goes guest trendsetter. I was wowed by her work then and still am! Congrats, Sandra! I had so much fun CASEing this card of hers. I changed the colors, and switched from a square card to regular A2. I used my new Bloom stamp set from There She Goes and some of my favorite colors of the moment: New Leaf, Summer Sunrise and Kraft!

I made this quick card for Dawn's Raspberry Suite Color Challenge. Now THIS was a tough-ie! Once I got going on it and decided on the stamp set it wasn't too bad, just not something I would put together on my own. I guess that's why they call it a challenge, right?!

Hello! Well, I'm a little late today with my Stamps and Smiles sketch card, but a little late is better than never, right? I sat down last night for about 10 minutes to try and make a card and it just was not happening! Sometimes that happens and I usually know right away so I just walked away. I had the star on this card already punched out with the bling on it and tonight this card seemed to flow much better. I guess we all have those days, right?
